Founded in 2018 by Landon Hinote and Rick Tate, MakeMine began with a clear mission: to revolutionize sourcing and production technology by making the process so easy that anyone can do it.
Landon, a seasoned pro in building and scaling international supply chains for DTC and wholesale brands, was constantly seeking ways to streamline his work. Meanwhile, Rick was developing top-tier manufacturing and supply chain software at SpaceX and Manhattan Associates. Conversations between the two quickly evolved from casual brainstorming into a shared vision. They both knew there had to be a better way—and that’s when they decided to quit their jobs and start MakeMine.
